SDSU Student Affairs

Caroline Tanner is the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs. She began working at SDSU in 1989 and has worked in a variety of departments on campus; Student Outreach Services, Counseling & Psychological Services, Business Services and Educational Opportunity Programs.

Caroline briefly left SDSU in 2004 to work for San Diego Association of Governments and returned to Student Affairs in 2007.

Born and raised in San Diego, CA, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Master's in Public Administration at SDSU. Caroline enjoys cooking, reading and family vacations with her husband, Greg, daughter, Katie and son, Jeffrey.
