Italian Language Proficiency Test

 

General Information

The Italian Language Proficiency Test is taken for two purposes: 1) As a challenging exam to satisfy foreign language requirements for Liberal Arts and Science Majors and/or 2) to waive 200 level Italian courses which are prerequisites for more advanced classes.

Who Needs to Take the "Italian Language Proficiency Test?"

Any Liberal Arts and Sciences major that wishes to attempt to satisfy their foreign language requirement with an Italian test. Also, any student wishing to attempt to waive 200 level Italian courses in order to take more advanced courses
