Recognized student organizations are formed for educational, professional, social, recreational or other purposes that enhance the student experience at San Diego State University.

Follow these steps:

Officer Orientation Dates and Times

All orientations held in Student Services West-1661

February

Tuesday, February 5 – 2 pm to 3:30 pm
Friday, February 22 – 10 am to 11:30 am

March

Monday, March 10 – 2 pm to 3:30 pm
Tuesday, March 25 – 1 pm to 2:30 pm

April

Wednesday, April 9 – 2:30 pm to 4 pm
Tuesday, April 22 – 1 pm to 2:30 pm


Advisor Orientation Dates and Times

All orientations held in Student Services West-1661.

Advisors must be part time or full time employees of SDSU; employee eligibility is verified when organizations apply for on-campus status. Auxiliary staff and student assistants are not eligible to serve as advisors.

Friday, February 8 – Noon to 12:30 pm
Thursday, February 28 – 3:30 pm to 4 pm

March

Tuesday, March 11 – Noon to 12:30 pm
Monday, March 24 – 9 am to 9:30 am

April

Friday, April 11 – 2:30 pm to 3 pm
Monday, April 21 – 3 pm to 3:30 pm
