Rhetoric & Writing Studies 305W
Spring 2008

If you received an 8 or 9 on the Writing Proficiency Assessment (WPA) or passed RWS 280, you need to take an upper division writing class. One option for fulfilling this requirement is enrolling in RWS 305W. Expressly focusing on the academic needs of students with disabilities, specialized sections of RWS 305W are offered to SSS Project Participants. These courses are taught by writing instructor Carl Fielden in a positive learning environment. Participants also have the opportunity to work closely with Project Writing Tutors on each assignment and receive assistance in the areas of brainstorming, development, structure, documentation, and specific grammar concerns.

For more information, contact Teresa Spoulos, project advisor, at 594-4401.
