The SDS Student Advisory Board was established to create disability awareness among the SDSU community. The board reviews and makes recommendations regarding policies, programs, and procedures to encourage and promote the Student Disability Services’ goals. This group also assists in communicating the board’s goals and activities to the campus community.
The SDS Student Advisory Board, sponsored by Associated Students, is comprised of students with and without disabilities, as well as a faculty and a staff advisor. The board holds open meetings in the SDS Conference Room in Calpulli Center.
If you are interested in serving on the board for the 2009-2010 academic year, please contact Teresa Spoulos, Staff Advisor, at 619-594-4401, for a membership application. Applications are also available at Student Disability Services and at the Associated Students Office in Aztec Center. Students from all academic majors are encouraged to apply.
