You must provide a final official transcript from all colleges you’ve attended or received academic credit from (including your spring term grades). This final transcript is in addition to the transcript that must be submitted as part of your Intent to Enroll deposit, and must be mailed to the Office of Admissions by June 30, 2009. For a transcript to be considered official, it must remain in its original sealed envelope. Electronic transcripts wll be accepted for courses completed at Grossmont College, Cuyamaca College, San Diego Mesa College, Miramar College, City College, and Southwestern Community College. The earlier you submit your transcript, the more complete your preliminary evaluation will be.
Advanced Placement exam score reports with passing scores are required in order to obtain college credit for AP high school courses taken. If you have not already done so, please provide any available test results.

All SDSU students must take the Writing Proficiency Assessment (WPA) during the semester in which they achieve 60 units or in the semester immediately following. As a transfer student you have completed 60 units or more, so you have between the time you are admitted to the end of your first semester at SDSU to take the exam. If you do not take the exam, you will not be allowed to register for future terms at SDSU. You should arrange to take this exam as soon as possible. Check the WPA information page for test dates, or to register for the exam.
All undergraduates must demonstrate competency in writing skills at the upper division level as a requirement for the baccalaureate degree. The Writing Proficiency Assessment (WPA) is a 90 minute exam that SDSU uses to determine which students write well enough to fulfill the Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR) and which students require an additional writing course(s) in order to fulfill the requirement.
