Program Costs

The new student program fee includes New Student Orientation, New Student and Family Convocation, and Welcome Week activities (for students only) in the Fall semester.

*EOP students should check with the EOP office for program fee information.

Please choose your date carefully! There will be NO REFUNDS for NO-SHOWS or CANCELLATIONS. There will be a $20.00 change-of-program fee if you change your date.

New Student Program fee for New Student Orientation, Convocation, and Welcome Week (Welcome Week activities are for students only):

The new student program fee includes: New Student Orientation; academic advising; course selection; major requirements; General Education information; the 2009-2010 General Catalog; an advising packet, including a preliminary degree evaluation; Transfer Student Handbook; and lunch at Orientation. The fee also covers New Student and Family Convocation, and Welcome Week activities for students.

The Parent Orientation fee includes: Parent Orientation; a Parent Handbook; a wide array of resource information provided by faculty, staff, administrators and student leaders; college and major requirements and university policies; a special orientation edition of News for Aztec Parents; membership in the Aztec Parents Association for the entire time your student is enrolled at SDSU; and lunch at Orientation. The fee also covers New Student and Family Convocation.

*NOTE: All registered guests are required to attend the Parent Orientation Program. Guests under 15 years of age are not encouraged to attend.

A $9.00 transaction and parking fee will be included in all reservations.

Payment options

CREDIT CARD: As part of the on-line reservation process, payment for orientation may be made by credit card. MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and Discover are accepted.

ELECTRONIC CHECK: As part of the on-line reservation process, payment for Orientation may be made by electronic check.

CHECK: You must PRINT OUT your confirmation page and mail a copy of it with your check. All mail-in payments must be received within 10 days after you have registered for an orientation date, or your orientation reservation will be cancelled. The returned check fee is $35.
