Submit Final Transcripts

You must provide a final official transcript from all high schools and colleges you’ve attended or received academic credit from (including your spring term grades). This final transcript is in addition to the transcript that must be submitted as part of your Intent to Enroll deposit, and must be mailed to the Office of Admissions by July 16, 2012.  For a transcript to be considered official, it must remain in its original sealed envelope.

Advanced Placement (AP) Test Scores

Advanced Placement exam score reports with passing scores are required in order to obtain college credit for AP high school courses taken. If you have not already done so, please provide any available test results. SDSU's AP school code is 4682.

To obtain your AP test scores, write to the following address:

AP Exams
P.O. Box 6671
Princeton, NJ 08541-6671

Testing Requirements

If you have not cleared the English Placement Test (EPT) and/or Entry Level Mathematics Test (ELM) requirements through your EAP, SAT, ACT, or Advanced Placement (AP) Test scores or with certain transfer courses, you must take these tests. SDSU must receive the results for the EPT and ELM before you will be allowed to register for classes. You can take the tests at any CSU campus, and you register online at www.ets.org/csu. You must take the test(s) you need on or before May 5, 2012 or you will not be allowed to register for fall classes. The EPT may be taken only once.

(Note: Out-of-state students have different options for taking the tests.)

For detailed information about EAP, SAT/ACT scores that satisfy the EPT/ELM, test dates, test preparation and test registration, visit www.sdsu.edu/freshmantesting or contact the Office of Student Testing, Assessment and Research at (619) 594-5216.
