SDSU New Student Orientation

Before you start:

Have your SDSU RedID number. This can be obtained online through the SDSU Web Portal. You will need your RedID number to begin your reservation.
Update your Web Portal e-mail account. We will use this e-mail address to send your orientation confirmation and to follow up with additional orientation information.
Have a credit card. MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover are accepted. Checks are also accepted, but your space will not be confirmed until we receive your payment. There is a $28 fee for returned checks.
Know your major. Your reservation will be associated with the major in which you applied to the university. If this has changed, contact the Admissions Office before making a reservation.
Know your date choice. Check the list of program dates. Be prepared with a second and third choice in case your first choice is full. Once a program is full, that date will no longer appear on the list of options in the Reservation system.
Have your parents’ contact information ready to complete the reservation form.

Please print a copy of your reservation and your orientation confirmation. It will also be e-mailed to you. Please make a note of the date you chose.
