HTW Chur offers programs in Management/Entrepreneurship, Information Science, Telecommunications and Electrical Engineering, Construction and Design.
The University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur may be fairly small, but it nonetheless offers all the advantages of a university. Most significantly, classes are of a manageable size, allowing students to contribute actively and learn efficiently while benefiting from the unique networking experience afforded by an international student body.
The faculty not only imparts knowledge, but is also sincerely concerned about the students’ personal well-being. Social competence and integrated and interdisciplinary thinking are strongly encouraged. The development of the complete individual is perceived as requisite to the generation of innovative approaches to problem solving leading in turn to purposeful and decisive action.
Locale: On three individual sites in Chur, the HTW Chur provides well-equipped lecture, library, and computer facilities. Two cafeterias and spacious student study and common areas add to what is an effective and enjoyable study environment.
Throughout the HTW’s various facilities, free access to WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) is provided.
All students receive a student identification card in credit card format.
In addition to its evident function, this card may be used as a means of payment within the school, for example in the cafeterias. Furthermore, the photocopiers and printers for the computer workstations are also connected to this system. Thus, costs for copying and printing are directly debited to the respective card account.
