The Graduate program: The Masters in Management (taught in French) has an education model which is based on two imperatives: a rigorous selection of applicants demonstrating recognized abilities and high ambition, and an educational program providing students with excellent individual preparation to meet the needs of companies; and The International Masters in Management The International Masters in Management (IMiM) trains global managers with highly developed international business skills. It is open to students who wish to graduate with a MIM degree with an international dimension. The IMiM is designed to provide managers with an understanding of the challenges and complexities of managing projects at an international level and to prepare them for international business careers. ACADEMIC NOTES : ESC Lille welcomes international students both through its more than 40 exchange Programs with its international university partners and through direct admission. The IEP is home to 1,100 students, 147 lecturers, 50 researchers and 67 technical and administrative staff and is part of a network of nine French IEPs, co-ordinated by the National Foundation for Political Studies (FNSP). Undergraduate programmes last three years. After their first year at the Institute, students choose one of the following 'sections': public service; economics and finance; politics; economic and social policy. Post-grad studies last two more years (Master). Our diploma is now in 5 years.

LOCALE : campus located at Saint Martin d'Hères (a close suburb of Grenoble ), department of Isère , region Rhône Alpes in the French Alps .

ACADEMIC NOTES: Our courses are now offered on a semester basis (except for the in-house language courses of English, German and Spanish that span the two semesters). All of our undergrad courses are potentially available to the foreign students. There might be limitations however in the case of the 'tutorials' (Conférences de Méthode) that will only accept a limited number of students.

LANGUAGE NOTES: The vast majority of courses are given in French. Professors are rather demanding especially with regard to essay-writing. To this effect we propose specific courses to the foreign students regularly registered at the IEP: French language courses, and an academic writing course (all free of charge).

ROOM AND BOARD: Several canteens and private restaurants cater to the students on campus. Accommodation can be a problem in Grenoble , but the students coming under an exchange scheme can apply to the student accommodation office (called BLEU) without a guarantee they will be placed. The IEP tries to provide help and guidance for the students who prefer to or have to find accommodation in town in the private sector.

EXCHANGE DATES :The first semester begins early in September and the first semester exams take place just before the Christmas break. The second semester starts in the last week of January and ends in the last week of April. The exams and re-sits last till the end of June.
