InterNational Partners

ISC Events

The InterNational Partners Program is a collaborative effort of the SDSU International Student Center and an assortment of community service organizations engaged in the promotion of international understanding and goodwill. The program is designed to provide the organizations with diverse perspectives and resources contributed by international students, and provide the students with an internship experience in community services with an international focus. Students receive a partial tuition waiver in exchange for 125 hours of service a semester.

Would you like to be an International Partner ?

Every Fall semester, the InterNational Partners Program gives SDSU's international undergraduate students an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in some of the finest community organizations in San Diego. Some examples are the City of San Diego, International Visitors Council, United Nations Association, International Youth Hostel Federation, Alliance for African Assistance, and World Affairs Council, just to name a few.

As an InterNational Partner, you are required to complete 125 hours of service in a local community organization during the Fall 2007 semester. In return, the International Student Center will award you a scholarship by waiving four units ($339 X 3 = $1,017) of your tuition payment for the Spring 2008 semester.

Qualifications

You must be a full time international undergraduate student for both the Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 semesters to apply. You must have F-1 visa status.
