On-Campus Housing

The Halls

Living on campus can be an exciting and enriching part of your college experience. Whatever option you choose, you'll find a true sense of community at your SDSU home. Aside from the obvious benefits of convenience and camaraderie, on-campus living definitely offers important academic benefits as well!

The Office of Housing Administration has six residence halls, with a variety of living options. Residence halls are situated on the east and west sides of campus. All halls have local cable service and wireless Internet in each room. All halls are coed. All individual rooms and suites are same-gender.

Traditional Residence Halls

The traditional residence halls offer double occupancy accommodations. They are the best value and offer the greatest opportunity to develop a large social network. Each building is usually divided into wings or room clusters. Though the buildings are all co-ed, we attempt to place same-gender residents close to their designated restroom. Each double room is equipped with a bed, desk & chair, dresser, closet, and bookshelf for each resident. Double rooms also include a microfridge.

Suite-Style Halls

University Towers (UT) (Upper Division residents only) offers mini-suite accommodations with two double rooms sharing a common bathroom. Four residents live in each mini-suite. Cuicacalli Suites has suite-style accommodations, where eight residents share a suite with single and double rooms, a shared common living area, full-size refrigerator and microwave, and two full-size bathrooms.

Cuicacalli Suites is also home to the residential dining facility, The Dining Room, along with the Aztec Market & Convenience Store.
