Emerging Leaders Program

Leadership development begins with an understanding of yourself – your personality, talents, skills, goals and values. The Emerging Leaders Program is an intensive and interactive learning experience introducing students to leadership development. Participation in this learning community will also fulfill two of SDSU’s classes for the proposed Leadership Minor. Enrollment in this learning community is reserved for students who intend to complete a minor in Leadership Development. Students will complete 6 of the 20 units needed for this minor by the end of their first year.
The program follows the MAPs for the following majors (but is not limited to):
- Pre-Business
- Public Administration
- Political Science
- Criminal Justice
- Undeclared majors
