Approximate average monthly rent for student unfurnished rental apartments. Rates fluctuate depending on location and amenities.
Studio: $725-850
One Bedroom: $800-1075
Two Bedroom: $1,000-1300
Three Bedroom: $1,600-1900
Security deposits average one month's rent.
As you prepare your budget, remember to budget for rent and utilities (gas and electricity, telephone, cable TV, Internet access), meals, transportation, furniture, household items, laundry, entertainment, and personal items. Don't forget tuition fees and books!
