Important Dates

Spring 2008

Cancellation Deadline: For spring 2008 residents - cancellations must be turned into the Office of Housing Administration by December 21, 2007 (see Fees & Payments - Cancellation, for more information)

Halls reopen: January 20, 2008 at 4:00 pm (2:00 pm for new residents) through January 21, 2008

Classes & Meals Begin: January 22, 2008

Meal Plan Change Date: Last opportunity to change meal plan.
February 4-8, 2008 (effective February 18, 2008)

Spring Break: Halls close for break (except Aztec Corner, Villa Alvarado and University Towers).
March 28, 2008, 4:00 pm through April 6, 2008, 4:00 pm

Halls Close: All halls close for the academic year (except Aztec Corner).
May 17, 2008, 4:00 pm - Licensee should leave by 8:00 pm on the day of his/her last final examination but in no case later than May 17th at 4:00 pm.

Aztec Corner Closes: July 31, 2008.
Licensee must vacate no later than 4:00 pm, July 31, 2008.

Fall 2008

Cancellation Deadline:  Received by Wednesday, July 30, 2008.

Move-in:  Friday, August 29, 2008 through Monday, September 1, 2008

Meal Plan Begins:  Monday, September 1, 2008 Classes Begin:  Tuesday, September 2, 2008

Meal Plan Change Date: First opportunity to change meal plan.
September 15-19, 2008 (effective Monday, September 29, 2008)

Meal Plan Change Date:  Second opportunity to change meal plan.
November 3-7, 2008 (effective Tuesday, January 22, 2009)

Thanksgiving Break:  Halls close for break (except Aztec Corner, Villa Alvarado and University Towers). 
Wednesday, November 26, 2008, 4:00 p.m. through Sunday, November 30, 2008, 4:00 p.m.

Semester Break: Halls close for break (except Aztec Corner, Villa Alvarado and University Towers).  Licensee should leave by 8:00 p.m. on the day of his/her last final examination, but in no case later than 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2008.

Spring 2009

Cancellation Deadline:  For spring 2009 residents – cancellations must be turned into the Office of Housing Administration by Friday, December 19, 2008.  (See Fees & Payments – Cancellation, for more information)

Halls Reopen:  Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. (2:00 p.m. for new residents) through Thursday, January 22, 2009.

Classes & Meal Plan Begins:  Thursday, January 22, 2009

Meal Plan Change Date:  Last opportunity to change meal plan.
February 9-13, 2009 (effective Monday, February 23, 2009)

Spring Break: Halls close for break (except Aztec Corner, Villa Alvarado and University Towers).   Friday, March 27, 2009, 4:00 p.m. through Sunday, April 5, 2009, 4:00 p.m.

Halls Close:  All halls close for the academic year (except Aztec Corner).  Thursday, May 21, 2009, 8:00 p.m. – Licensee should leave by 8:00 p.m. on the day of his/her last final examination, but in no case later than Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 8:00 p.m.

Aztec Corner Closes:  Friday, July 31, 2009.  Licensee must vacate no later than Friday, July 31, 2009, 4:00 p.m.
