Aztec Corner Apartments

Living at Aztec Corner, you'll receive many of the benefits of residence hall living, such as live-in staff, similar amenities, and membership to the Aztec Recreation Center. The 175-unit complex has several laundry rooms on-site and has 19-hour front desk operations. All Aztec Corner units come with digital cable and an Internet modem provided by Cox Cable. Roommates share the cost of utilities, charges are billed monthly to the student statement from the University Cashier. (Telephone is not included at Aztec Corner and residents must contact Cox Communication directly.)

Each fully furnished one and two bedroom apartment is rented by the space and each bedroom accommodates two residents. The complex is coed; individual apartments are same-gender. Every apartment includes a living room, dining area, bathroom and a kitchen. Residents need to bring their own bedding and kitchen items such as pots, pans, utensils and dishes.

Meal plans are required for first-time freshmen living in Aztec Corner and Villa Alvarado. Returning residents, continuing SDSU students and new transfer students are not required to have a meal plan. Freshmen Aztec Corner residents have the choice of several meal plans, including the Apt. Mini-Meal plan which is only available to those living in the apartments.

Aztec Corner residents also have the option of purchasing a reserved space in the underground parking lot. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those who choose not to purchase a reserved parking space may purchase semester permits with overnight designation (available through the Cashiers Office) and park in student lots, like all other residence hall students.

Aztec Corner remains open over the academic break periods at no additional cost to the residents (Housing Over the Breaks) and has an 11-month lease beginning in August at move-in through the end of July.

Located on the west side of campus close to University Towers and Chapultepec, Aztec Corner is near all athletic fields, Peterson Gym, Cox Arena, the Aztec Recreation Center, parking lots and a Red & Black Shuttle stop.
