On-Campus Housing

• Apartments have one or two bedrooms and one or two bathrooms.
• In one-bedrooms, no more than 2 residents are allowed per apartment, in two-bedrooms no more than 4 residents (doubles) per apartment.
• Optional reserved parking is available for an additional fee.
• Apartments include a fully furnished living room, dining area, and a kitchen. Complex ammenities include an on-site laundry facilities.

2009/10 monthly rental rates for Aztec Corner East apartments are:

• Double space in a 2-bedroom: $760 per person
• Double space in a 1-bedroom: $830 per person
• Single space in a 2-bedroom: $1140 per person
• Whole apartment, 1-bedroom: $1660
• Whole apartment, 2-bedroom: $2230

Aztec Corner East apartments are an option for upper-division and graduate students looking for independent apartment-style living. There is an on-site manager with office hours during the weekdays. There is no residence life program offered in this complex.

Each fully furnished one and two bedroom apartment is rented by the space or whole apartment and each bedroom accommodates one (single) or two (double) residents. The complex is coed; individual apartments are same-gender unless the whole apartment is leased, then the gender can be coed if need be. Residents need to bring their own bedding and kitchen items such as pots, pans, utensils and dishes. Students are not required to have a meal plan.

All Aztec Corner units come with digital cable/T.V. and an Internet modem provided by Cox Cable. Water, garbage collection, cable and internet services are included in the rent. Roommates share the cost of utilities, charges are billed monthly to the student statement from the University Cashier. (Telephone is not included at Aztec Corner and residents must contact Cox Communication directly.)

Aztec Corner residents also have the option of purchasing a reserved space in the underground parking lot. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those who choose not to purchase a reserved parking space may purchase semester permits with overnight designation (available through the Cashiers Office) and park in student lots.
