Shimina Harris

Hey!  My name is Shimina Harris and I am the residence hall coordinator for Cuicacalli Suites - Tepeyac tower.  I recently moved back to California after a four-year stint in the Midwest, making stops in Illinois, Missouri, and Indiana. 

I am originally from Southern California, having done my undergraduate work at Cal Poly Pomona obtaining a degree in Communication Studies before heading to Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL to get my master’s in College Student Personnel.  I eventually moved a bit further east to Indiana where I spent two years as a full-time residence hall director in an upper-class environment.  Although I enjoyed my time in the Midwest, seeing my first snowfall and being close to Chicago, I am certainly glad to be back to the west coast!!

In my spare time I enjoy playing and watching basketball, reading good books, enjoying good food, shopping, going for walks, and adventuring out on roadtrips whenever possible!  I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I’m looking forward to a great year and to meeting all of you.  Feel free to stop by and say hi!
