Students seeking a credential should consult with departmental advisers for program requirements and to determine their eligibility for admission.

Your specific admission status to the credential program determines your financial aid eligibility.

Admission Status

Conditionally or Fully Admitted to a Teaching Credential Program

 

You may be considered for—

  • Pell Grant (only while enrolled in required credential course work of at least 6 units)
  • State University Grant
  • Federal Work Study (FWS)
  • Perkins Loan
  • Federal Direct Student Loans

Conditionally or Fully Admitted to a Credential Program Other Than a Teaching Credential

 

You may be considered for—

  • State University Grant
  • Federal Work Study (FWS)
  • Perkins Loan
  • Federal Direct Student Loans

Admitted as a Dual Degree Graduate (graduate and teaching credential programs concurrently)

 

You may be considered for—

  • Pell Grant (only while enrolled in required credential course work of at least 6 units)
  • State University Grant
  • Federal Work Study (FWS)
  • Federal Direct Student Loans.
