SDSU students enrolled in distributed learning courses may be eligible to receive financial aid. Courses available through distributed learning vary each semester and are in the class schedule with a distance education (DE) notation. Applying for Financial Aid
Eligibility and CostEligibility is based on the number of units and the length of the course. To qualify, you must be enrolled at least half-time (6 units for undergraduate; 5 units for graduate) and the length of the term must be at least 15 weeks. To remain eligible, you must maintain satisfactory academic progress. Your eligibility is also based on SDSU’s standard cost of attendance modified to meet the cost registering through the College of Extended Studies. For other expenses unique to your program, complete and submit a Student’s Request for a Budget Increase form.
