Financial Aid Awareness Month

The 2013-14 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available.

It's Free, It's Easy, It's Online at www.fafsa.gov.

During February, the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will be staffing information tables and hosting FAFSA Workshops to help current SDSU students.

SDSU Priority Evaluation Deadline

To receive first priority evaluation for all financial aid programs, submit your FAFSA by March 2 and, by April 1, submit all financial aid documents requested through your AidLink account.

  • By March 2 – your FAFSA must be complete and accepted (not rejected for errors) with SDSU’s federal school code of 001151.
  • By April 1 – submit requested documents.

A FAFSA and documents submitted after these dates will receive second priority evaluation. Applications are evaluated and aid awarded throughout the year based on available funding. Some grant funds are limited so apply early and submit documents as soon as requested.

SDSU Scholarships

4 pm February 8, and May 10, 2013, are the next online application deadlines for SDSU scholarships that will be awarded for the 2013-14 school year.

New scholarship opportunities with unique deadlines are posted throughout the year so
