Community Service
We connect student organizations and groups with community partners for meaningful service activities. We encourage student groups to develop ongoing service relationships that facilitate quality service partnerships between students and community organizations. We seek community partners who are committed to contributing to the education and personal growth and development of SDSU student volunteers.
Community-service can be defined in a variety of ways. We provide one definition that orients community service as not only an activity but an educational opportunity.
What is Community Service?
Community service refers to service that a person performs for the benefit of his or her local community.
Civic Learning and Community Engagement goals for Community Service at SDSU:

- Build connections to the community in ways that illuminate important social issues
