SDSU Greek Week 2012 Presents: C.U.R.E. Africa

This year, SDSU has chosen to support C.U.R.E. Africa. Two SDSU students created C.U.R.E Africa to help starving children in East Africa. They hope to raise awareness and money in both the SDSU campus as well as the San Diego community. By uniting college students, faculty, and community members, the organization strives to advocate for those affected in the Horn of Africa and to be a voice for the millions of children who cry in silence. Fun and Games

Greek Week is one of SDSU’s largest student-run events. Members from each fraternity and sorority work together six days of fun and excitement. Events include attending an Aztec Baseball game, Carnival Day where paired groups have carnival-style games and sell food, Greek Olympic-style games, hands-on service and All Greek Award Ceremonies. The most exciting day of Greek Week is the Talent Show. This event is a spectacular show of talent combining acting, dancing, costuming and prop design to create a professional and entertaining production. Proceeds from the week are donated to a designated community service organization. (This year's proceeds will support C.U.R.E. Africa.)
