Student Research Symposium

Registration closes Feb. 1

You are cordially invited to participate in SDSU’s 3rd Annual Student Research Symposium, to be held March 5 – 6 at 8 pm in Aztec Center. Submissions must be received no later than February 1.

All SDSU students, including recent graduates, are encouraged to submit an application to present either preliminary or completed results from their original research. Presentations, oral or poster, will be organized by academic disciplines with divisions for undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students.

The SRS is a two-day event to recognize the outstanding scholarly accomplishments of SDSU students. The SRS provides a public forum where SDSU students present their research, scholarship, or creative activities.

Ten Presidential Awards ($500 each) will be given for outstanding oral presentations to recognize achievement in original scholarship. In addition, Dean’s awards ($250 each) will be awarded to two students from each college and twelve Provost Awards ($150) will be awarded for outstanding poster presentations.
