Canned Food, Toothbrush and Toothpaste Drive Hosted by the SDSU Honors Council

All items to benefit the homeless through The Alpha Project

The Alpha Project is a nonprofit human services organization that serves more than 2,000 homeless men, women, and children each day. The San Diego State University Honors Council is hosting a drive to collect canned food, new toothbrushes and new toothpaste.

Did you know?

• 39 percent of the homeless population are children under the age of 18
• 40 percent of homeless men served in the armed forces
• The main cause of homelessness is poverty and lack of affordable housing

Please donate your items to Administration Building Room 201 (AD 201) throughout the month of November. The drive ends on December 7.

*ALL ITEMS MUST BE NEW AND CANS MUST BE NON-FROZEN
