Earn a certificate in cultural competency to enhance your personal and professional development. Become more aware of differing cultures’ varying values and beliefs, while reflecting on your own culture in respect to others. Free to all SDSU students.
November events under the Cultural Competency Certificate Program will focus on the following issues:
- Native American Awareness, Thursday, Nov. 5, 4 – 7 pm, Casa Real
- Black and Brown Summit, Saturday, Nov. 7, 9 am – 4 pm, Aztec Center
- LGBTQ Awareness, Monday, Nov. 16, 4 – 7 pm, Casa Real
- Disability Awareness, Tuesday, Nov. 17, 4 – 7 pm, Casa Real
