Volunteers Wanted! – Info. Sessions: Oct. 1, 7 & 8

Make a difference in a young person’s life. Volunteer with EOP.

If you enjoy working with students of all ages, the EOP Volunteer Program could be just what you’re looking for in a volunteer experience!

Sponsored by the Office of Educational Opportunity Programs, the EOP Volunteer Program is designed to gather and call on the help of all SDSU students to help facilitate special events and programs throughout the school year that educate future first-generation college students about the importance of a college education, and the SDSU experience.

Special events and programs include:

• Freshman For a Day
• Middle School Campus Tours
• Student Panels
• EOP Graduation

Volunteer Info. Sessions

For those interested, EOP will be hosting Volunteer Information Sessions on:

• Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 10 a.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 2 p.m.
• Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m.

All Volunteer Info. Sessions will be held in the EOP Office , located at Student Services West, room 2109, and should last about 30 minutes.

If you cannot attend one of the above Info. Sessions, or if you’d like to let us know that you will be attending, send an e-mail to Rodrigo Gutierrez (rgutierr@mail.sdsu.edu). In your email, be sure to state your full name, class level, and which session you’d like to attend.
