The 2nd annual Common Experience International Photo Contest – applications available in August
If you have studied abroad in the past, or plan to study abroad this summer, NOW is the time to begin thinking about that perfect shot to enter in the 2nd annual Common Experience International Photo Contest taking place during Family Weekend on September 26 and 27, 2008.
As part of the SDSU Common Experience , a university-wide panel of judges will evaluate photo submissions that exemplify this year's contest theme. Three contestants will be selected to receive 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards in addition to honorable mention.
Among other prizes, last year's winning photographers were awarded travel packages for international or domestic travel, iPods, and tickets to local attractions such as the San Diego Zoo and the Birch Aquarium.
Contest applications will be made available in August, and submissions will be due in September. Check your e-mail for updated information about the 2nd annual Common Experience International Photo Contest, including this year's chosen theme!
