Congratulations to the 2008 Quest for the Best Vice Presidential Student Service Award Winners

The Quest for the Best Vice Presidential Student Service awards recognize up to 10 outstanding student leaders each year. Students are selected based on their academic achievements, university participation, and community service.

This year, which marks the 22nd anniversary of the Quest for the Best Awards, 10 students were honored at a special banquet on April 19.

The 2008 winners are:

Jameson DeSantis, senior, television, film and new media major

Jeremy Ehrlich, senior, international security and conflict resolution major

Melanie Fink, senior, liberal studies with a specialization in human development major

Teressa Martel, senior, political science major

Daniel Matthews, senior, hospitality and tourism management major

Nidia Merino, senior, anthropology and chicana and chicano studies double major

Lacy Olson, senior, psychology major
