Let’s Talk About the Common ExperienceYou spent your summer traveling with Dr. Paul Farmer to Haiti, Peru and Russia via Tracy Kidder’s book, Mountains Beyond Mountains. Now what?
The Division of Undergraduate Studies, in partnership with Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, the SDSU Bookstore, the International Student Center, KPBS and the San Diego Public Library, announces the Common Experience: Mapping the Future, Sharing the World. The Common Experience is a year-long initiative aimed at building a community among SDSU students, faculty and staff, and the wider community by spurring a common dialogue about shaping your future. “It’s about taking responsibility for the way our world is going to be formed,” said Maureen Kelley, director of the Thomas B. Day Freshman Success Program. Be a part of our community by visiting the Common Experience Web site or display case in Manchester Hall, and by participating in these activities:
