Greek Weeks to Benefit Mama’s Kitchen

Each spring semester, the Greek Community puts together a variety of events to raise money for a local charity. Greek Weeks 2007 aims to raise $25,000 and volunteer with Mama’s Kitchen, a nonprofit organization that delivers food and support to San Diegans affected by AIDS.

The events begin with a trip to Petco Park for a Padre’s game and culminates in an awards ceremony and check presentation to Mama’s Kitchen. An on-campus BBQ and a Talent Show are both open to the public.

We will be accepting all donations, financial and canned foods, for Mama’s Kitchen now through April 30. Please direct all donations to the Student Activities and Campus Life office (formerly the Centers for Student Involvement) in the Student Services West building, room 1661.
