Special Discount Prices Available for College Students – $15 tickets!

A group of San Diego Opera donors would like to share their passion for opera with you. They have graciously underwritten up to 75 tickets, which are available for students at a discounted price of $15 each.

This special rate is being offered for the following performances:

• Saturday, April 14, 7 pm
• Tuesday, April 17, 7 pm
• Friday, April 20, 8 pm
• Sunday, April 22, 2 pm

Students may choose one performance only.

About The Opera

“Wozzeck” is the tale of a poor, oppressed soldier who becomes a guinea pig for medical experiments to support Marie, his common-law wife, and their young son. Humiliated by her affairs with his superiors, he becomes jealous, then neurotic, then completely mad – destroying all that he loves.

Tony Award winner Des McAnuff makes his opera directing debut for an opera he calls “a breathtakingly brilliant masterpiece of music and theatre – one of the great musical accomplishments of the 20th century.”

Tickets must be ordered in advance using this Ticket Order Form (PDF file, requires Acrobat), and are only available for fulltime college students. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Follow the instructions on the forms closely, and all forms must be submitted by noon on the deadline date indicated.
