SDSU Dining Services Announces Late Night Dining

logo - an image of the moon and stars, with the question "What's for dinner?"In response to feedback from an extensive survey of students, faculty and staff, SDSU Dining Services is initiating its “What’s for Dinner?” Late Night Dining campaign. The survey results revealed a strong preference for extending dining hours and, beginning March 5, dining facilities will be open later. “We always try to listen to our customers about what we can do to better serve them,” said Debbie Burchianti, associate director of SDSU Dining Services.

In addition to the above changes, the survey revealed that customers wanted an option for quicker service at Sub Connection in East Commons. In response, a variety of popular six-inch sub sandwiches will soon be available as “grab and go” items. Made fresh a short time before they are placed in the refrigerated display case, this dining option will allow customers who are short on time the opportunity to purchase their favorite sub sandwiches and be on their way as quickly as possible.

Also, the two most popular breads served at our restaurants, white and wheat, are being made even better by the use of a new recipe. This process improves the breads’ texture and makes their flavor even more complimentary to the fillings they contain.
