Two-Day Film School

Would you like to follow the career paths of such film directors as Quentin Tarantino, Guy Ritchie, and Baz Luhrmann? What about actors like Queen Latifah, Marcia Gay Harden, and Will Smith; plus hundreds of screenwriters?

Each had their careers launched in the Two-day Film School, being offered this semester through SDSU’s College of Extended Studies! Courses take place Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 10-11; or Saturday and Sunday, April 7-8, at the Hollywood Film Institute in Santa Monica.

In one weekend, you will learn how to direct, shoot, and edit your first feature film on budgets from $5,000 (digital filmmaking) to $10,000,000 (studio deal making). Then you will discover how to produce, finance, and distribute that film.

For more information, call (619) 594-2517 or visit www.ces.sdsu.edu/film.html.

Would you like to learn how to maximize your test-taking potential?

SDSU’s College of Extended Studies offers the CSET (California Subjects Exam for Teachers) and GRE (Graduate Record Examination) Prep Sessions, starting this month.

The CSET sessions are Saturdays, Feb. 24-March 10, 9 am-4 pm. GRE sessions are scheduled Saturdays, Feb. 24-March 17, 9 am-1 pm.
