Time for You to Reapply for Financial Aid for 2007-2008

January is the time for you to reapply for financial aid for next year. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed each year, and can be conveniently completed online.

Submit your FAFSA as soon after January 1 as possible. Some funds are limited and are awarded on a first come, first-served basis. First-time Cal Grant applicants must apply on or before March 2.

If you’ve already applied for the 2006-2007 year, simply complete a Renewal FAFSA by updating the information from the previous year.

Even if you and your parents haven’t yet completed federal tax returns for 2006, you may use estimated income tax information. You can update and correct the FAFSA online once you have the accurate information.
