Never Stop Learning!The College of Extended Studies offers a variety of courses to augment your current schedule.Need to take a beginning biology course this semester? SDSU’s College of Extended Studies offers a General Biology class, three units of Biology X100, Tuesdays, August 29-December 12, 5-7:45 pm. This is an introduction to the primary concepts of biology that meets General Education requirements. Topics include cell structure and function, genetics and inheritance, adaptation and evolution, taxonomy, and organismal biology. It is not open to students with credit in Biology 203 or biological sciences majors. Concurrent registration in Biology 100L is recommended. The Practical Academic Study Skills (PASS) Program through SDSU’s College of Extended Studies will provide you with the study skills you need to succeed in and out of the classroom. The section scheduled for Monday through Friday, Aug. 14-18, 10:30 am-12: 30 pm, is specifically designed for SDSU students. If you’re studying for the National Fundamentals in Engineering Examination (FE/EIT), SDSU’s College of Extended Studies can meet your needs! The Engineer-In-Training Examination Review series consists of 16 lectures reviewing the eight major subject areas covered by the examination. The lecturers are full-time professors of engineering at SDSU or professionals from the community; each will speak on his field of expertise and be available for consultation with you. Classes are Mondays & Wednesdays, Aug. 30-Oct. 25, 7-9 pm (no class Sept. 4).
