Meet Your New A.S. Executive Officers
Associated Students elections were held April 3-6 and five new executive officers and 21 new college council representatives were chosen by the student body to represent their interests for the 2006-07 academic year. These newly elected student representatives will officially take over for the outgoing A.S. Council on May 10, when they are sworn in during the A.S. Council meeting held in Council Chambers.

Now, to introduce your new Associated Students Executive Team:
President
Matt Keipper is a 20-year-old finance major and is planning on a career in finance with an emphasis in commercial development after graduation. Matt enjoys listening to music, going to the gym and hanging out with friends. Matt is a founding father and member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and currently serves as the Vice President of Finance for Associated Students. Matt is originally from Thousand Oaks, California.
Executive Vice President
Brian Hamilton, a senior economics major, is 21 years old. Brian enjoys playing the guitar, hanging out with friends and playing sports. He’s a member of the Inter-Fraternity Council executive board and Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity. After graduation, Brian plans to attend graduate school to earn an MBA.
Vice President of External Affairs
A double major in political science and English, Khouloud Elmasri, 21, will be a senior next year. Khouloud likes to go to clubs and live performances, such as plays, with her friends when she’s not on campus. Khouloud currently serves as an A.S. Councilmember, a member of Rotaract, the Vice Chair of the A.S. External Affairs Board, a member of the Arab Student Union and represents SDSU as the Student Alumni Liaison to the California State Student Association.
Vice President of Finance
Tyler Morgan is a 22-year-old finance major with a minor in public economy. Tyler has worked as a Resident Advisor in the residence halls this year, is the current chair of the Cultural Arts and Special Events board (CASE) and has also been a member of the A.S. Finance Board, the Finance Investment Society and Aztec Empire. In his free time Tyler likes to work out at the gym, hang out with friends at the beach and play golf.
Vice President of University Affairs
International Security and Conflict Resolution major John Ly, 21, hopes to shake things up as the Vice President of University Affairs. John is a member of Phi Kappa Psi, Aztec Empire, CASE, the Student Health Advisory Board and served as a member of the 2006 Greek Week planning committee. John counts playing poker and running marathons among his hobbies, and plans to travel extensively when he graduates.
