Attention Soon-to-be Grads and Job HuntersStudents interested in getting a job, internship or volunteer opportunity should stop by Career Services, located in the Student Services East building, room 1200. Whether you’re graduating this May and looking for professional employment, or if you’re a continuing student looking for part-time work, here are just a few offerings through Career Services that you’re sure to find extremely helpful:
While experience and skill are important in landing a job, a resume that stands apart from the rest, a confident interview, and exercising correct business etiquette are extremely important as well. Together, you and the Career Services staff can work at creating the “total package” that will appeal to employers, and increase your chances of landing a great job! Students graduating in May: Note that all SDSU graduates have a three-month period after graduation in which they can continue to utilize Career Services for free. After the three-month period, alumni are required to pay a discounted rate for using various career services. Career Services is open this semester Monday Friday, 8 am 4: 30 pm, and on Super Service Wednesday (every Wednesday) office hours are extended to 7 pm. To view a complete list of services, and for further information, visit Career Services at career.sdsu.edu or call (619) 594-6851. Also in the Spotlight: |
