Author Allan Gurganus will present a reading as part of the Fall 2005 Hugh C. Hyde Living Writers Series

Gurganus is the author of two novels, "Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All" (1989) and "Plays Well with Others" (1997), and a collection of short stories, "White People" (1999). His most recent work is a volume of four novellas, "The Practical Heart" (2001).

The reading will be at 7:00 p.m. in Room 2203 of the San Diego State University Library. It is free and open to all.
