Associated Students Information Faire11 am 1 pm, Aztec Center Do you need information? Do you need to know where to go, whether it’s on or off campus to get information about serving the community, figuring out your classes, or making a difference through voting or other actions? Join Associated Students at the Information Faire planned for September 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on and around the Aztec Center Patio. Organizations ranging from SDSU’s Disabled Students Services to the ACLU will be at tables while music plays on the Aztec Center Patio Stage. AS Vice Presidents LaToya Jarrett and Dennis Kramer organized the event to be a “one-stop shopping” event for students to find the answers to many questions quickly while having a little fun. “We wanted students to be able to find the answers to questions they might have, but didn’t know where to look,” Kramer said. “We figure if we put all of these people in one spot, someone’s bound to know the answer to any school or volunteering-related question.” Jarrett has been in charge of finding organizations from the local community that either would be interested in having student members or volunteers. She said she’s hoping to have organizations representing a broad range of interests and groups so that any student could find a way to help out or get involved in something outside of the San Diego State campus.
