Welcome Week @State

Whether you’re brand new to SDSU, or a returning student, you need to attend Welcome Week @State!

Welcome Week @State begins on Sunday, August 28 with New Student and Family Convocation, and concludes on Saturday, September 3 with the Aztec football game against UCLA. A wide variety of activities will happen in between – from a movie premier to recreational events, and more.

Welcome Week is designed to enhance your educational experience at San Diego State University by introducing you to the social aspects of life on campus.

Just a few of the events include:

    • Aztec Bash @ State! – enjoy the music of the 80’s All Stars and great barbeque food hosted Vice President for Student Affairs James R. Kitchen
    • Welcome Back Dance – join new and current SDSU students to celebrate the beginning of the semester at the biggest dance of the year!
    • Student Organizations Fair – with more than 200 student organizations on campus, you are bound to find one that meets your interests! Student organizations will showcase what they have to offer and what is in it for you.
