A Valuable Resource in Determining Your Life’s Goals

Many students use Career Services when looking for a job, but ALL students, including incoming students, should visit Career Services early on in order to help them plan their educational goals.

Career Services offers a wide variety of resources to help students plan their future, including helping them choose the right major. Career assessments are available to help students determine potential careers suited to their interests and work values.

A Career Resources Room is available with materials for students to browse. Online and face-to-face tutorials and workshops are offered throughout the year. Career Services has a staff of dedicated professional career counselors ready to help all students. There is also a network of career consultants, who are SDSU alums who have graciously agreed to answer questions about their jobs and career choices. Hard copies of these consultants’ contact information are available for review in the Career Resource Room; online contact information is available for those registered with the Aztec Career Connection (log in and click on the Networking link at the top of the screen).
