Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships- Your Safety Net!You may be eligible for free money (grants or scholarships) to assist you with your educational expenses, but you will never know unless you apply. In addition to grants, you will be considered for low-interest loans and federal work-study by completing the FAFSA. Even if you initially decide against borrowing a loan, you may want to apply now so you will know what you qualify for should you need it later. It is always a good idea to be prepared and have a safety net! Students who complete the FAFSA should log into the OFAS Web site at least once a week to:
The counselors in the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships look forward to assisting students either by phone between 9:00 and 4:00 (619 594-6323), or in person between 8:00 and 4:30, Monday through Friday (Student Services West Room 3605).
