AS President Bids Farewell

As the school year comes to a close, as does my term as the AS President, I can say that I am very pleased with this year’s events and I am excited about the new traditions we have started on campus. We hope that some of those traditions will become an essential part of the SDSU experience in the future. This @State newsletter is just one of the changes made this year to help improve overall student awareness and participation at San Diego State. We really strived to improve the name and face of Associated Students on the campus and in the community. We wanted to make this campus more visible to all, and inclusive of all students.

More importantly, we wanted to bring more excitement, entertainment and pride back to our student body through such ideas as the Backcourt Bashes and Azfest. We hope that you, as students, enjoyed these events and look forward to attending them in the years to come. I am confident that next year’s executive team will carry on the enthusiasm and dedication we tried to instill in AS and the campus this year and help make this university an even better place to work and play! This year has been one of the most valuable experiences of my life and I will keep the memories with me always. Thank you to everyone who supported our team, and me as the President. I wish all of you the best of luck in all of your endeavors.
