7 Tips to Fit It InBy Lauren Thayer Sadly, my story is all too common among my fellow SDSU students. I came here four years ago as a freshman I was in fantastic shape. I was forewarned of the “Freshman 15,” but assumed it was some urban myth. After months of partying, dozens of late-night carne asada burritos and too little self-control, I learned the “Freshman 15” is no myth. I experienced first hand the shock of the “Freshman 15,” which became the “Sophomore 15” and would have raged out of control unless I did something about it. I made up many excuses such as:
I couldn’t understand how others had time to go to the gym. Finally, after two years, I asked one of my friends (who is busier then I was), “How do you have time to workout?” She explained that she doesn’t have time, she makes time.
